I got a tripod for Christmas and it is amazing. Of course I have to figure out how to work it though!

We went for a spin and looked at the lights at the Riverbank walkway skating oval. It was beautiful. I tried to take some more bokeh photos but I couldnt get it to work however, I am getting better at the whole night photo thing!

I am beginning to think I need to concentrate on one technique until I get it down pat then move on to another. some of the photos I see on my photochallenge group are simply amazing and I would love to take such sharp clear photos. In time I guess, in time. This photographying myself is certainly a different thing for me, as I am used to taking photos of plants, insects and whatever, but rarely do I take photos of people let alone myself. I am really enjoying this journey!
