This is my last night in Ottawa. I went for a walk to find some toasters for the photo challenge, and thought that todays photos should include a self portrait of me in the nation's capital.

I love our parliament buildings and even on my desk I have a piece of the roof that I received from somewhere as a pin. I love old buildings and know NOTHING about architecture and find it relaxing and soothing to take photos and admire the buildings just because of their beauty.

I mention frequently that I cannot relax in nature, b/c I am constantly wondering what that is, how that works, and what interacts with what. I find I can relax in cities b/c I do NOT understand the manmade structures and I have NO desire to learn so I can appreciate the beauty for what it is.

Although I am busy with work, my instructing and my own course work, I feel nice and relaxed after being here in the City.
