One little trick I created for mindfullness is my One Junior Mint at a time...
I was real sick with a horrible depression almost 8 years ago. I found the thoughts were nerve racking. While watching Seinfeld (the famous Junior Mint episode) I came up with a way to bring myself to the moment. I would take one Junior Mint and put it in my mouth and let it melt and it would bring me back to the moment. I had to have boxes of Junior Mints EVERYWHERE ~ even in my doctors' offices LOL. I no longer need my Junior Mints but I tell others who are having problems with staying in the moment, my little Junior Mint trick...
and once again, Junior Mints saved another person! heehee
